This qualification provides a pathway to work in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops. It provides options for specialisation in areas such as accommodation services, food and beverage and gaming. The qualification also allows an outcome for small businesses requiring multi-skilled employees.

Course fees:

Certificate 3 Guarantee
The Certificate 3 Guarantee program provides eligible students with access to a subsidised training place in a priority Certificate III or lower level qualification, to help individuals gain employment in a critical occupation, progress in their chosen career or transition to university to continue their studies.

VET in Schools (VETiS)  Certificate III qualifications delivered outside of school based apprenticeship and traineeship pathways may be funded to support local employment opportunities based on an industry proposal.

Student co-contribution fees for this funding model is set at Concessional: $15 ; Non- concessional : $30.

User Choice
The User Choice Program provides funding contributions to train eligible apprentices and trainees employed in Queensland.
