Prior to placement, Interns will undergo a hands-on workshop, to benefit your business for example: Customer Service | Sales | WH&S | Motivation, and anything else your business may require.
During the trial, you don’t pay the young person. Instead, the Australian Government gives them $200 per fortnight on top of their income support and covers the insurance.
You now have the opportunity to offer the newly-skilled Intern the available position within your business, if you feel the young person is the right fit. You may be eligible for a financial incentive (known as a wage subsidy) of up to $10,000 (GST inclusive).
