Cornzal Training and Consulting Services is an RTO providing training and advice to businesses wanting to further assess and develop the current skills and knowledge of their employees and encouraging workforce development. Our thorough and personalised approach allows CORNZAL to work in partnership with your business comprehensively addressing your priorities.

We currently offer accredited training in areas of Retail, Management and Hospitality as well as a range of non-accredited and skill set based training (as per below) personalised to the needs of your team. We are very focused on your needs and are willing to work with you and your team throughout the entire process providing not only consulting and training but continuous ongoing support to ensure we provide the best possible service to your business.

Cornzal engages third-parties in training and assessment to assist us to deliver a seamless experience for our students. Further information will be provided at the time of enrollment.

WHAT IS USER CHOICE FUNDING?

The User Choice 2021 – 2022 program provides a Government  funded contribution towards the cost of training and assessment for eligible Queensland apprentices and trainees. The funding is provided by the Queensland State Government.

The program provides the flexibility for apprentices, trainees and their employers to select a preferred registered training organisation (RTO) such as Cornazl Workforce Development to delivery accredited qualifications tailored to their specific needs.

Hospitality

SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use a defined and limited range of hospitality operational skills. They are involved in mainly routine and repetitive tasks using practical skills and basic industry knowledge. They work under direct supervision.

This qualification is suitable for VET in Schools (VETiS) delivery and for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway.

SIT30616 – Certificate III in Hospitality

This qualification reflects the role of skilled operators who use a range of well-developed hospitality skills. They use discretion and judgement and have a sound knowledge of industry operations. They work with some independence and under limited supervision and may provide operational advice and support to team members.

This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway.

SIT30816 - Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

This qualification reflects the role of commercial cooks who use a wide range of well-developed cookery skills and sound knowledge of kitchen operations to prepare food and menu items.

This qualification provides a pathway to work as a commercial cook in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafe and coffee shops.

Leadership & Management

BSB40520 – Certificate IV in Leadership and Management

This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of their team.

They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

BSB50420 – Diploma of Leadership and Management

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.

Business

BSB30120 – Certificate III in Business

This qualification provides the priority skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in the business services industry such as, but not limited to; communication skills, digital competency, business competency, social intelligence and time management. It also develops an individual to be competent in a range of complex customer service roles.

Works would be undertaken in various business industry settings such as reception, office assistant, business support, enrollment officer, planner or scheduler.

Duties at this level would also include working with multiple communication channels, providing excellent customer service, adhering to key performance indicators, working in a team environment, providing support to a team, providing technical advice and capturing data.

Individuals would work under supervision, but may have some authority to delegate.

Hygiene & Cleaning

CPP30321 Certificate III in Cleaning Operations

This qualification reflects the role of cleaners responsible for undertaking a range of routine and non-routine tasks according to work schedules, liaising with clients and in some cases members of the public, and operating in a range of general residential and commercial settings as well as specialist in cleaning environments.

The cleaner may work alone, with or without supervision, and has responsibility for selecting, preparing and using appropriate cleaning methods for a range of cleaning situations while ensuring safe work practices.

HLTINFCOV001 - Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures

This unit describes the skills and the knowledge required to follow organisational infection prevention and control procedures, including implementing standard and transmission-based precautions and responding to infection risks.

WHAT IS THE CERTIFICATE 3 GUARANTEE?

The Certificate 3 Guarantee supports eligible individuals to complete their first post-school certificate III level qualification and increase their skills to move into employment, re-enter the workforce or advance their career. Funding under the Certificate 3 Guarantee Program is provided by the Queensland State Governments Department of Education and Training.

WHAT IS HIGHER LEVEL SKILLS program?

The Higher Level Skills program provides eligible individuals with access to a subsidised training place in selected certificate IV level or above qualifications, and priority skill sets.

The aim is to assist individuals to gain the higher level skills required to secure employment or career advancement in priority industries or to transition to university to continue their studies. Employers may also be able to access training to address workforce development needs.
