Cornzal is out and about in the community, forging vital connections with stakeholders who endorse the ethos Cornzal strives to promote: “anyone can learn, and quality education and training are one’s vehicles to ‘unleashing their potential’.”
Our friends at Pasifika TV and Radio extended a warm invitation for Cornzal to get on the air and reach audiences far and wide; to spread a message that Cornzal’s flexible delivery model and modes, coupled with its deeply experienced training staff, ensure quality education and training are available to all, irrespective of geographic boundaries.
Pasifika TV and Radio was founded by the Brisbane Tongan Community (Inc.) in 2019 and produces weekly programs in Tongan, Niuean, Samoan, Tokelauan and English.
Pasifika tells Pacific stories, from Pacific perspectives, in Pacific languages, and seeks to combat negative and inaccurate portrayals of Pacific cohorts in mainstream media by elevating Pacific culture, music, news, stories and voices.
It challenges the status quo and aspires to represent its people to the highest standard.
Cornzal supports Pasifika’s mission and used its time on the air to disseminate an important message to listeners: by pursing Vocational Education and Training with Cornzal, you will attain and develop tangible skills, increase your job-readiness, initiate a pathway into higher education, and, ultimately, become your best, most well-rounded self.
