Cornzal partner receives prestigious award

We’re thrilled to share that two of our students and their employer, White’s IGA, recently received national awards at the prestigious National IGA Awards of Excellence. This incredible achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the stores and their staff, especially considering the tough competition with over 1400 stores nationwide and nearly 70,000 employees.

As the preferred training partner for both IGA stores and their staff, Cornzal is honoured to have been a part of this success. We couldn’t be prouder of our students and their employer, White’s IGA.

IGA stores across Australia are celebrated each year at the National IGA Awards of Excellence.  The awards formally recognise and celebrate independent retailers from across the country.

White’s IGA are the proud recipients of the 2023 IGA National Customer Service and Experience award and 2023 IGA National Medium Delicatessen award.

White’s IGA is celebrating 30 years in business this year, having started in the industry in 1993 with the purchase of a Nightowl Convenience store. They now employ 500 people across 6 IGA supermarkets, all located on the Sunshine Coast.
