We were excited to hear about the recent achievements of the Whites IGA team members who completed the SIR40316 Certificate IV in Retail Management. Not only have they experienced personal and professional growth, but their enhanced skills will greatly benefit Whites IGA as well.
“The Cert IV in Retail Management has enhanced White’s IGA team members’ knowledge and skills in Retail Management, especially their skills in performance management,” said Whites IGA People & Culture Manager, Nicole Shum.
“Two of the students from the 2020 Cohort have progressed internally from a Department Manager to a Store Manager,” she continued.
“The Cert IV in Retail Management has benefited the business in a variety of ways including the development of an internal career pool which reduces the recruitment and training costs to the business as well, resulting in more competent People Management which has reduced the involvement of the People & Culture team in lower-level issues”.
